aycan consent

A clever way to provide patient information on the iPad for practices, radiology centres and hospitals.

Overview

aycan consent

With aycan consent, we support you in providing information to patients prior to medical examinations or treatments.
Providing this information enables patients to give informed consent to the procedure. Healthcare organisations typically document these information sessions using paper forms, which are then filed away or scanned and added to the digital patient record.

With personalised consent forms and seamless integration into the primary system, aycan consent adds significant value to medical practices and clinics. Our solution utilizes state-of-the-art technologies that greatly simplify patient admission without altering existing infrastructure – it integrates seamlessly into your existing systems.

Patients benefit from a full-screen digital assistant on the iPad, which guides them step by step through each question of all assigned consent forms. Thanks to this extremely user-friendly interface, you’ll create a ‘wow effect’ with your patients right from the start.

Via the consent Portal, patients can edit documents digitally anytime, anywhere, even before their appointment.

Kiosk mode
The new aycan consent software version 3.0 supports kiosk mode. This enables you to achieve greater efficiency in patient registration.

Patients can now fill in the forms assigned to them independently – for example, on an iPad mounted in a stand. This is achieved by patients entering a 4-digit PIN at the terminal, which they were given earlier during registration, thereby unlocking their individual information sheets. This also ensures that each patient can only view their own data and forms.

  • consent Portal: Patients can complete forms from home
  • iPad app with patient mode (wizard)
  • Kiosk mode: Check-in terminal at the practice
  • PIN-protected transfer to the Practice Information System (PIS), Hospital Information System (HIS) or Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Transfer of patient data from the PIS/HIS/RIS (GDT, URL, HL7)
  • Customised information sheets based on your own templates
  • Return transmission via file or as HL7 MDM or HL7 ORU
